2025 was a difficult year for the government and people of the western communes of Nghe An province, who suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods. Many schools and health stations were buried, and many houses were swept away by the floods.

In light of this situation, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security leadership assigned the Nghe An Provincial Police to take the lead in implementing practical support activities for the people. In 2025, the Provincial Police advised on and supported the construction of 108 houses for people who lost their homes and one multi-level school in My Ly commune, with a total budget of 105.8 billion VND. Simultaneously, the project to build 8 health stations in 8 border communes was also launched with a total budget of 80 billion VND, marking an important step in grassroots healthcare.

Previously, on November 28, 2025, the first phase of construction for 3 health stations in 3 communes: Chau Khe, Tam Quang, and Keng Du commenced; today, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the remaining 5 health stations in 5 communes: Anh Son, Na Ngoi, Na Loi, Thong Thu, and Tri Le.

These projects are of particular importance, contributing to improving the quality of primary healthcare for the people; and at the same time demonstrating the deep concern of the Ministry of Public Security for the people of Western Nghe An who have been severely affected by natural disasters.
