Construction begins on a factory at VSIP Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 6th, VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for phase 1 of the prefabricated factory complex within the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Zone in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
Attending the ceremony were representatives from provincial departments and agencies, leaders of Hung Nguyen district, and Mr. Anthony Tan - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd.

The VSIP Nghe An pre-built factory complex has a total area of up to 20,000 m2 and will be implemented in several phases with a total estimated investment of 6 million USD.

Phase 1 of the prefabricated factory complex at VSIP Nghe An covers an area of 5,000 m2 and includes two adjacent factory buildings with complete designs, suitable for most light and clean industries. Each factory building includes an office area and a production area with full electricity, water, and telecommunications systems.
In addition, customers in the ready-built factory area still receive the same support services as customers leasing land, including: legal support, labor recruitment consulting, security, fire prevention and fighting, landscaping and green space maintenance in the industrial park, etc.

On behalf of VSIP Nghe An, General Director Anthony Tan affirmed the long-term investment commitment and determination to gradually build a sustainable investment and development environment in Nghe An.
He emphasized that pre-built factories would help investors accelerate production deployment, reduce initial costs, and would be an ideal location for investors who want to experiment on a small scale. When expanding, they can rent larger factories or lease land to build their own factories according to their own designs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hung Nguyen District Party Secretary Hoang Van Phi expressed his hope that the project would be completed on schedule and with high quality by VSIP and the contractor, quickly put into operation, and attract and serve more investors who wish to establish production and business in Nghe An.

Established in 1996, VSIP has continuously expanded and currently comprises 7 industrial parks in Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Quang Ngai, Hai Duong, and Nghe An, with a total land area of 6,153 hectares. Transforming from a traditional industrial park model into a modern urban-industrial complex, VSIP has attracted 616 investors with a total capital of US$8.5 billion, creating nearly 160,000 jobs. The VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Zone, with a total area of 750 hectares, commenced construction on September 16, 2015. Phase 1A, covering 128 hectares, has been rapidly leveled and infrastructure built. VSIP Nghe An will continue to construct several important facilities such as a wastewater treatment plant, pumping station, fire station, etc., to serve its first customers in the fourth quarter of this year. |
