Construction of the project 'Cooperative with Uncle Ho' started
(Baonghean.vn) - This is a practical project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, expressing the deep feelings and gratitude of Cooperatives and Cooperative Unions nationwide for President Ho Chi Minh's special affection for the cooperative economic sector.
On the morning of August 30, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance started construction of the project "Cooperative with Uncle Ho" in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Van Nghi - Vice President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Mr. Le Phuc An - President of Nghe An Province Cooperative Alliance; leaders of Nam Dan district.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Le Van Nghi said that the project "Cooperatives with Uncle Ho" was unanimously issued by the Executive Committee of the alliance as a Resolution in August 2018, with the positive response of members of the Cooperative Alliance system from the Central to 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
This is a practical project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, and will be completed on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020), expressing the deep affection and gratitude of Cooperatives and Cooperative Unions nationwide for President Ho Chi Minh's special affection for the cooperative economic sector.

The completed project contributes to creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape, leaving a deep and special impression of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in the hearts of the people of Nghe An province in particular and domestic and foreign tourists in general.
The project “Cooperatives with Uncle Ho” will also be a “red address” to propagate and educate revolutionary traditions to cadres, civil servants and workers of the entire Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system about Uncle Ho's ideology, ethics, lifestyle, style and simple, noble image.
The project includes 4 hectares of lotus pond, 2 rest houses, 2 passenger bridges, flower carpets, ornamental plants, and decorative lights. The total value is up to 8 billion VND.
The lotus flowers grown in the lotus pond are a high-yielding variety, transplanted from Dong Thap, where the tomb of Nguyen Sinh Sac, father of President Ho Chi Minh, is located.
