Two suspects charged for using a motorbike to rob a female bank employee.
(Baonghean.vn) - Choosing a deserted stretch of road in the middle of a field, two young men approached Ms. Tr., snatched her handbag, and sped away on their motorbike.
On September 9th, the People's Procuracy of Do Luong District approved the decision to prosecute the following individuals: Nguyen Van Toan (born in 1996), residing in Van Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, and Nguyen Huu Tuan (born in 1995), residing in Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, for the crime of "robbery".

According to initial investigations, at approximately 12:00 PM on August 27, 2019, Ms. Tran Thi Quynh Tr. (born in 1996), a staff member of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Do Luong District, residing in Dong Son Commune, Do Luong District, was riding her motorbike from the Xuan Bai branch in Xuan Son Commune, Do Luong District, towards home. When she reached the middle of a field in Xuan Son Commune (Do Luong), Tuan, driving a motorbike in the opposite direction, turned around and approached Ms. Tr. closely, allowing Toan, sitting behind him, to snatch her handbag before speeding away.
Inside Ms. Tr.'s handbag were: 1.5 million VND, a driver's license, an ID card, two ATM cards, and a motorcycle insurance policy, all bearing the name Nguyen Thi Quynh Tr.
After stealing Ms. Tr's belongings, Tuan and Toan threw away some of her documents and handbag, while they used the money to buy drugs for personal use and then divided it between themselves.
After Ms. Tr reported the incident to the Do Luong District Police, at approximately 12:30 PM on August 29, 2019, a patrol team from the district police, while patrolling National Highway 15 in Da Son commune (Do Luong), spotted two individuals acting suspiciously. The team apprehended Toan and Tuan as they were driving a motorbike from Thanh Chuong towards Do Luong town.
At the investigative agency, Tuan and Toan initially admitted to all their criminal acts, and the case is currently under further investigation.
