(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Tien Sy, residing in Dong Quang hamlet, Thai Hoa town, was arrested by the police while buying and selling drugs. It is known that Sy is a long-time drug addict.

On March 21, the Tan Ky District Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute Nguyen Tien Sy (born in 1977), residing in Dong Quang hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town, for the illegal possession of narcotics.

Through intelligence gathering, the police determined that recently, several individuals in Nghia Dong commune have been involved in the illegal buying and selling of narcotics, affecting public order and security and causing public outrage.

After a period of surveillance, on March 16, 2017, the Tan Ky District Police caught Nguyen Tien Sy red-handed while he was buying and selling drugs to addicts in Nghia Dong commune.

The seized items included 64 packets of heroin (total weight 7.08g of heroin), one motorbike, and one mobile phone.
