Prosecution and investigation initiated against the suspect who brutally abused his own child.
Out of anger because his son refused to study, Duong Nguyen Binh Minh took the child into the bedroom and repeatedly hit him on the buttocks, legs, arms, and head with a phone charger cable.

On November 21st, the Nhon Trach District Police (Dong Nai province) issued a decision to prosecute Duong Nguyen Binh Minh (23 years old, residing in Phu Dong commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province) for the following offense:torturing one's own child.
According to the initial investigation, in 2018 Minh married Ms. MD (residing in Phu Hoi commune, Nhon Trach district) and they had a child together, DMD (5 years old). During their marriage, conflicts arose between the couple, leading to divorce, with Minh gaining custody of the child.
Later, Minh took his son to live with his mother in Phu Dong commune. There, Minh repeatedly beat his son with household items such as chopsticks, rulers, and phone chargers.
On October 20th, angered by his son's refusal to study, Minh took him into the bedroom and repeatedly hit him on the buttocks, legs, arms, and head with a phone charger cable.
Furthermore, Minh used a phone charging cable to wrap around the child's neck to prevent him from escaping. Then, Minh took his son to the living room and continued to repeatedly beat the child with other objects. As a result, the boy's body was covered in red welts, swelling, bruising, and some areas had torn skin and bleeding…
On the afternoon of October 21st, the grandmother returned home and discovered numerous wounds and bruises on the child's body, so she reported it to the police. Subsequently, Minh surrendered to the police.
Working with the police, Minh initially admitted that from March 2022 until his arrest, he frequently used household items to beat his own son.
