Prosecution of young man who poured gasoline and set his girlfriend on fire
Due to a love conflict, Lam Truong Binh poured gasoline on his girlfriend and set her on fire, causing both of them to suffer burns. After months of treatment, Ms. T. still suffers from 43% injuries.

On August 16, the Investigation Police Agency, Vinh Long City Police, issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Lam Truong Binh (commonly known as "Binh Ca", 23 years old, residing in An Binh commune, Long Ho district) for 3 months to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury.
According to the investigation, at around 7:00 p.m. on January 20, 2017, due to a previous emotional conflict, Binh poured gasoline on his girlfriend, NTKT (21 years old, living in Vinh Long City) and lit a lighter, causing both of them to suffer severe burns.
After extinguishing the fire, relatives took Binh and Trinh to Vinh Long General Hospital for emergency treatment, then transferred them to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment. Through assessment, Ms. T.'s disability rate was 43%.
It is known that Binh has a previous conviction of 2 years in prison for intentionally causing injury./.
