Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the act of organizing the illegal emigration of others to foreign countries.
The commander of the Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, has just issued a decision to initiate a criminal case for "Organizing the illegal emigration of others" that occurred in the border area of Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.
Earlier, at 12:30 PM on September 30th, in the patrol area approximately 2km from border marker 457 between Vietnam and Laos, the Anti-Drug and Crime Prevention Department of Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Security Investigation Department (PA09) of Nghe An Provincial Police, discovered and apprehended two individuals who had crossed the border without completing the required immigration procedures.
