Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting with the Provincial Party Committee's Committees and Office on the work situation in the fourth quarter of 2017 and orientation of key tasks in the first quarter of 2018. In the fourth quarter of 2017, the Provincial Party Committee's Committees and Offices have done a good job of advising, implementing, studying and thoroughly grasping the Party's directives and resolutions, promptly responding to the leadership and direction requirements of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

During the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Committees specifically reported on the results of the work in the fourth quarter of 2017 and the key tasks in the first quarter of 2018; proposed a number of contents related to the work of the Committees and the coordination in performing tasks between the Office and the Provincial Party Committee's Committees to effectively implement the proposed contents and work programs.

Regarding the tasks of the first quarter of 2018, he noted that the Committees need to deploy right from the first days of the year to create a competitive atmosphere with the following key contents: Strengthening propaganda work about the Party, about the results of the Party's innovation in all aspects; the results of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and implementing the political tasks of the province in 2018. Focusing on propagating good people, good deeds, studying and following the style, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also requested the Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office to do a good job of reviewing and evaluating cadres at the end of the year to serve as a basis for the cadre team to strive for in 2018; review information from the grassroots to supplement the work of evaluating and classifying cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee.

“Evaluating cadres is the most difficult step. If we do not do it carefully and do not evaluate accurately, it will reduce the motivation of cadres to strive,” the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized.

Lead and direct cadres and people to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2018 safely, happily, healthily, economically, creating an exciting atmosphere, promoting emulation in the new year. Strengthen inspection and supervision work, focusing on checking for signs of violations. Promote judicial reform; grasp the situation at the grassroots level to well lead the work of the mass front, summarize the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations; direct quality conferences of civil servants and workers. Promote emulation in mass mobilization skillfully. Prepare, advise, and serve well the work plans of the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

Regarding the suggestions of some Committees, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Office to supplement the report to the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and implementation.
