On the night of September 1st and the early morning of September 2nd, the entire city of Hanoi was illuminated with lights, as tens of thousands of people from all over the country flocked here, staying awake along the roads leading to Ba Dinh Square to await the historic moment for the nation - the military parade and procession commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
