Ivanka Trump is reportedly set to have an office in the same area that the First Lady of the United States typically uses at the White House, the New York Times reported.
The latest evidence suggests that the eldest daughter of the US President-elect is preparing to take on a significant role in the new administration led by her father.
According to CNN, Ivanka Trump is increasingly involved in matters related to her father, Donald Trump, from the transition of power to policy initiatives.
Currently, Ivanka has not been given any official responsibilities at the White House, but she will have an office in the exact spot reserved for the first lady, usually in the East Wing.

Initially, Ivanka Trump, along with her brothers Eric and Donald Jr., was planned to lead their father's vast business empire when he took office as President. However, in recent weeks, Ivanka appears to be aiming for a more formal position in the administration. Evidence of this is her increasing involvement in her father's political affairs.
Earlier this month, Politico published an article in which numerous experts predicted that Ivanka would play a more prominent role than the de facto First Lady Melania, and would be particularly involved in climate issues.
A few days later, Ivanka met privately with former Vice President Al Gore at Trump Tower to discuss climate issues. Afterward, the Trump father and daughter met with Leonardo DiCaprio, another environmental activist.
Furthermore, Ivanka's husband, Jared Kushner, also played a significant role in advising his father-in-law throughout the election campaign and the transition of power. This relationship has led many to believe that it will give Ivanka a greater political role.
One of the biggest signs that Ivanka will hold a significant position in the White House emerged earlier this week. That was when Donald Trump announced he would postpone revealing specific plans for leaving his business ventures during his time in the White House. He had planned to make this announcement today (December 15th).
