Encourage private economy, improve economic institutions

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 19, the Party Committee of provincial agencies organized a dissemination of Resolution No. 5 of the 12th Central Committee on perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy institution; Regulation No. 86-QD/TW on supervision work within the Party of the Politburo; Directive No. 12-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the role of setting examples, practicing thrift, and fighting waste among cadres and party members.

At the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Thong - General Secretary of the Central Theoretical Council, conveyed the basic issues of the Resolution of the 5th Conference, the 12th Central Executive Committee on perfecting the socialist-oriented market economy institution; on continuing to restructure, innovate and improve the efficiency of State-owned enterprises; Resolution on developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy and Regulation No. 86/QD-TW, dated June 1, 2017 of the Politburo on supervision within the Party.

After more than 30 years of innovation, especially after 10 years of implementing the Resolution of the 6th Conference of the 10th Party Central Committee on "Continuing to perfect the socialist-oriented market economic institution", our country has achieved many important achievements but there are also many issues that need to be solved. Resolution of the 5th Central Committee (12th tenure) continues to affirm the important guiding point of our Party on building and perfecting the socialist-oriented market economic institution as a strategic task, an important breakthrough, creating momentum for rapid and sustainable development.

In the process of development and summarizing practices, the Party Central Committee directed to continue perfecting the ownership institution, developing economic sectors and types of enterprises; synchronously developing market factors and types of markets; linking economic growth with ensuring sustainable development, social progress and equity, promoting and improving the effectiveness of international economic integration; enhancing the Party's leadership capacity, the role of the State in building and implementing economic institutions, promoting the people's mastery in developing a socialist-oriented market economy.

Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the provincial agencies thoroughly grasped the contents of Directive No. 12-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the role of setting examples, practicing thrift, and combating waste among cadres and party members. The Party Committee of the block assigned tasks to the grassroots Party Committees and affiliated Party cells after this conference to convey to cadres and party members and develop action programs for the thoroughly grasped contents.
