Kia has not yet released performance figures; however, it's worth noting that the technical structure is expected to remain the same as the standard EV5 with a 400V architecture – more affordable but with slower charging speeds compared to 800V.

Kia positions the WKNDR as a major upgrade to the EV5, catering to those who occasionally leave the paved road.

The highlight is the range of exterior accessories geared towards outdoor activities. The design language retains the boxy shape of the EV5, but now emphasizes body protection details, suitable for light dirt roads and camping.
