The 2017 Kia K7 has arrived in Vietnam.

The new generation sedan, imported privately to Vietnam, is equipped with a 2.4-liter engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Kia K7, also known as the Cadenza in the US market, entered its new generation and debuted at the New York Auto Show in March 2016. The model imported to Vietnam is the Korean export version, featuring a refined design and many modern amenities.

Compared to its predecessor, the 2017 K7 retains the same length but is wider and lower. The longer wheelbase provides an additional 12 mm of legroom. The new K7's chassis is also 35% lighter and stiffer than the previous version.

The South Korean brand's sedan design has a luxury feel with a chrome grille and vertical metal bars. The exterior lighting system uses LED technology. The car comes standard with 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Similar to its older sibling, the K9, the Kia K7's interior is meticulously crafted, aiming to compete with luxury rivals from Germany. The cockpit still features numerous buttons, adding a touch of luxury with silver-colored metallic accents.Leather upholstery on the seats, wood trim on the dashboard.

The car is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen, an infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a multi-functional steering wheel, start/stop ignition, and an optional head-up display (HUD).

In the Korean market, the 2017 Kia K7 offers three engine options. The model imported to Vietnam, however, is equipped with a 2.4-liter GDI engine producing 190 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 241 Nm at 4,000 rpm. It features a 6-speed automatic transmission.The car is equipped with safety features such as cruise control, blind spot warning, collision warning, etc.

The price of the 2017 Kia K7 in Vietnam is approximately 2 billion VND, including registration fees.
