In terms of overall dimensions, the new Picanto is no different from the previous generation with a length of 3,595 mm, a width of 1,595 mm and a height of 1,485 mm. However, the wheelbase of the car has increased by 15 mm to 2,400 mm, making the interior more spacious.

The car is equipped with an old 1.2L Kappa II engine for a maximum capacity of 82 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 122 Nm at 4,000 rpm, combined with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
In Malaysia, the Kia Picanto 2018 has an announced selling price of RM49,888 (equivalent to about VND264 million).
