Kiatisak's assessment of the Vietnamese national team; Cong Phuong starts in Belgium; Neymar seeks help from MU.

Kiatisak: "Vietnam and UAE are not too difficult opponents."

In the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in the Asian region, Thailand is in the same group as the UAE, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Group G is considered a mini-AFF Cup as it features four representatives from Southeast Asia.

Kiatisak expressed optimism about the draw results: "I think this is a better opportunity than ever for the Thai national team. We were worried about facing representatives from the Middle East, Japan, or South Korea. The result is that we only have to compete with teams from the ASEAN region."

When asked about the clash with the Vietnamese national team, Kiatisak said that they are an easy opponent in the second seed group.

Cong Phuong started in Sint-Truidense's defeat.

Cong Phuong had only just arrived at Sint Truidense and had only just begun his training sessions, but the Vietnamese national team striker was still trusted with a starting spot in the friendly match between Sint-Truidense and Lummel (a Belgian second-division team).

In the first half, despite being considered the stronger team, Sint Truidense unexpectedly conceded two goals, and Cong Phuong failed to impress. The goalscorers for Lummel were Vachibaradze and Hendrickx.

This is Sint Truidense's final friendly match before the start of the 2019/20 First Division season against Royal Exel Mouscron Peruwelz on July 28th, also at home.

Based on his performance in the match on the morning of July 18th, Cong Phuong will need to work even harder in upcoming training sessions if he wants to be included in Sint Truidense's squad for official matches.

Neymar is appealing to Manchester United for help.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar, through his father, is appealing to Manchester United because he does not want to continue playing for PSG.

Neymar and Sporting Director Leonardo recently had a private meeting to discuss his future, and he simply wants to leave.

Neymar's plan is to return to Barca. However, PSG has just rejected an offer from the La Liga champions, which included 40 million euros plus Rakitic and Coutinho.

PSG only wants cash to reinvest in suitable players. This is an insurmountable challenge for Barca, after having already spent over 200 million euros on transfers, including 120 million euros on Antoine Griezmann.

Neymar is pleading with Manchester United to take him away from PSG.

According to Mundo Deportivo and several French newspapers, Neymar has expressed interest in joining Manchester United, as well as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus.

Among these clubs, Real Madrid gave up on Neymar due to his poor discipline, focusing instead on Kylian Mbappe. Juventus didn't sign the Brazilian when Cristiano Ronaldo was still in the team. Bayern also showed little interest in the former Barca player.

Therefore, MU is the team most likely to sign Neymar. But whether manager Solskjaer will listen to Neymar Santos's plea for help is another matter entirely.

Milan signs Luka Modric

Spanish media reports indicate that Milan are in contact with Real Madrid regarding Luka Modric.

According to AS, Modric is getting older and his physical condition is declining, making it unlikely that he will be part of coach Zidane's main plans for the 2019-2020 season.
