Inspecting election preparations at the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.
On March 9th, a delegation from Military Region 4, led by Major General Le Van Trung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, inspected the preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term at the Military Command of Nghe An province.
The inspection team included Colonel Nguyen Phi Hoa, Head of the Military Region's Civil Affairs Department, along with representatives from other Military Region agencies.
Receiving and working with the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Van An - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; and Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Military Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

According to the decision of the People's Committee of Thanh Vinh Ward, the Military Command of Nghe An Province belongs to polling station number 53, comprising voters from the following units: the Provincial Military Command Headquarters, Battalion 682, Military Procuratorate of Region 41, and Criminal Investigation Agency of Region 2.
Inspection revealed that the Nghe An Provincial Military Command had done a good job preparing for Election Area No. 53. They closely coordinated with local authorities to effectively implement activities to publicize and disseminate the Election Law and the biographies of candidates; raising awareness and responsibility among officers, soldiers, and professional military personnel in exercising their rights and civic duties. They successfully compiled and posted voter lists in accordance with regulations and continued to review and refine them to ensure accuracy and completeness; they fully posted the lists and brief biographies of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; and they did a good job of publicizing and preparing the necessary infrastructure.

Speaking at the inspection, Major General Le Van Trung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, highly appreciated the proactive, serious, and responsible spirit of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command in implementing the election work. He requested the Provincial Military Command to continue reviewing and preparing thoroughly and meticulously the conditions for election day; to closely monitor the voter situation; and to strengthen propaganda work. He also urged them to proactively develop combat readiness plans and be prepared to handle any situations, ensuring that the election is democratic, lawful, safe, and successful.
