(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 27th, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected slow-progressing projects in Vinh City.

Accompanying them were comrades: Vo Viet Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from various departments and agencies; the Vinh City People's Committee; and project owners.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the Phuoc Thuy housing project on Le Nin Street, which has not yet been constructed.

The delegation inspected the following projects: Phuoc Thuy residential area of ​​Phuoc Thuy Private Enterprise, Central Vietnam ENT Hospital on Le Nin Street, Nam Kinh Company's commercial and service center, Nghe An Garment Company's office on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, Dai Thanh Loc Company's product showroom, Central Vietnam Industrial University of Central Vietnam Human Resources Training and Development Joint Stock Company in Nghi An, BMC Vinh Plaza high-rise commercial and residential complex at 2 Mai Hac De and 92 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, and the Yen Giang and Vinh Tan residential area project of Him Lam Joint Stock Company... The inspection of 11 projects revealed that most of them had not yet commenced construction.

Representatives from the Nghe An Tax Department reported on the land use fee payment status of the Phuoc Thuy project.

The inspection team checks the progress of the Hung Dong industrial cluster project.

The Central Vietnam Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital has not yet been constructed.

The Nam Kinh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company's car service center project (located on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street) has not yet been implemented and has not paid any land use fees.

Many projects along Xô Viết Nghệ Tĩnh Street have not yet been implemented.

During the meeting with Vinh City, the Vinh City People's Committee reported to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on each specific case. Notably, many projects have not yet paid land fees to the state.The city has requested the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to revoke the planning and related legal documents concerning the Central Vietnam University of Technology project of the Central Vietnam Human Resources Training and Development Joint Stock Company.

The city proposed that the Provincial People's Committee assign the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Tax Department to verify the financial capacity of the investor of the BMC Vinh Plaza commercial center and high-rise apartment project and the housing project in Yen Giang block, Vinh Tan ward, owned by Him Lam Joint Stock Company. For some other projects, consideration should be given to extending or revoking, or partially revoking...

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong stated at the working session: "This time, the inspection and handling will be conducted openly and clearly, ensuring compliance with the law and avoiding any delays."

After hearing the opinions, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, concluded: The inspection of land-use projects must prioritize the development of the province and the city above all else. It is essential to ensure the enforcement of land laws. For several years, the city has made numerous proposals, and the province has established inspection teams; however, the effectiveness of these inspections has been low. This time, the Provincial People's Committee is meeting to work with investors to resolve difficulties and to secure commitments from them regarding the project implementation roadmap.

"The Departments and agencies such as Construction, Natural Resources, and the Tax Department are tasked with proactively inspecting and coordinating with project owners to ensure the strict implementation of procedures and obligations for the projects, and this must be completed by November 15th. The Department of Planning and Investment, based on today's meeting and the report from the City People's Committee, is tasked with handling each group of projects. Vinh City will submit a report and official request to the province regarding all uncompleted projects in the area. Project owners must make specific commitments to Vinh City and the Provincial People's Committee so that the Provincial People's Committee can issue a decision on handling these projects before November 30th, 2016," the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
