Inspection of the implementation of Decree 77/2010/ND-CP in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 29th, a joint inter-agency working group from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, led by Major General Nguyen Dinh Khan -The Deputy Director of the Operations Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, led a delegation to inspect the implementation of Decree 77/ND-CP dated July 12, 2010, of the Prime Minister.Regarding coordination between the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense in carrying out tasks related to national security protection, maintaining social order and safety, and national defense.in Nghe An province.

Participating in the working session with the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province were Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard, Provincial Fire and Rescue Police, and relevant departments and agencies.

A general overview of the working session.

Following a field inspection of the implementation of Decree 77/ND-CP in several localities within the province, the inter-ministerial inspection team from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security held a working session with provincial leaders and units of the provincial armed forces.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien reported to the working group on the outstanding results as well as the limitations and shortcomings, along with recommendations and proposals in coordinating the implementation of Decree 77 in the province.

In 2016, closely following the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, and the provincial Party Committee and government, the military, police, border guard, and fire prevention and fighting forces in Nghe An province proactively coordinated closely in monitoring the situation at the grassroots level, advising and directing the effective resolution of emerging issues related to national defense and security, preventing any unexpected incidents from occurring.

This contributes to ensuring security and safety for major political and social events taking place in the country and in the locality, especially during the 12th National Party Congress and the 14th National Assembly and People's Council elections for the 2016-2021 term, creating a sustainable environment for socio-economic development in the area.

Concluding the working session, Major General Nguyen Dinh Khan emphasized: The results of the inspection and practical work in Nghe An province provide an important theoretical and practical basis for the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to further supplement and refine Decree 77 in the future.
