According to the report presented at the conference, during the month, the sectors within the bloc effectively coordinated and implemented many key tasks. Functional forces proactively monitored the situation and advised the Party committees and authorities on resolving issues related to Catholicism, disputes, and complaints among the people, preventing the formation of hotspots of security and order.
The relevant departments effectively organized measures to prevent and mitigate the effects of Typhoon No. 10, preventing significant loss of life and property. Crime prevention and suppression efforts were decisively directed, resulting in a high rate of investigation of crimes against social order (>80%).

Focus on quickly investigating and solving several particularly serious cases, such as the murder case in Hong Tien village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau district. Discover and uncover many major drug trafficking rings and cases. Ensure absolute safety for international delegations and high-ranking Party leaders visiting and working in Nghe An.
During the month, authorities detected and apprehended 64 cases involving 89 individuals, seizing 295g of heroin; 4.6g and 3892 tablets of synthetic drugs; 4.2kg of crystal methamphetamine; 120kg of cannabis and 3.25g of opium.
The two-level judicial agencies have strengthened coordination in the investigation, prosecution, and trial of cases; they have organized mobile court sessions and exemplary cases. The two-level People's Courts handled 1,768 cases of all types, and resolved 1,081 cases (an increase of 14.5% compared to the previous month).

However, during the month, several issues remained, such as the continued occurrence of mass complaints; illegal trading, commercial fraud, smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, violations related to food safety and hygiene, illegal drug trafficking, and deforestation.
The enforcement of judgments has not yielded high results; while there have been improvements in cases related to credit and banking, progress remains slow. A relatively large number of civil and administrative cases are still being temporarily suspended; the case resolution rate remains low (at 61%).

The conference agreed on several key tasks for October 2017, including strengthening efforts to monitor the situation and resolve newly arising issues at the grassroots level, especially those related to religious affairs in the area, and resolutely handling violations of the law; actively resolving mass complaints and promptly addressing citizens' requests regarding BOT road toll collection at the Hoang Mai toll station.
In addition, departments and agencies are making good preparations for the review of the first nine months of the year, and for reviewing and urging the implementation of tasks for the last three months of 2017.
