Kim Cương celebrates the birthday of her 1.9m tall son who is studying abroad in the US.
On the occasion of his wife's son, Will, celebrating his birthday, singer Ung Hoang Phuc and former model Kim Cuong shared touching moments and memorable memories.
A new journey in America
Recently, former model Kim Cương posted a birthday message to her eldest son, Will, who is currently studying in the US. She expressed her love and best wishes for him on his new journey: “Mom lovingly wishes my son a very happy birthday. I wish you excellent studies, good behavior... and brilliant success in America! I love you the most.”
Will went to the US to study abroad at the end of July, when he turned 17, to pursue a degree in Business Administration and reunite with his father. According to his family, this is a plan to support his future business ventures. After a few months, many people have commented that Will looks more mature and robust, and stands out with his height of 1.9 meters.
Kim Cương also shared about her son's initial difficulties in living independently. She encouraged him to be strong and said that the whole family missed him very much. "At home, he always had his parents there for him, so he became dependent. Now it's time for him to grow up... Be strong, son. Mom Kim Cương and Dad Phúc miss you," she wrote.
Ung Hoang Phuc's special feelings
On this occasion, Kim Cương also shared a memory from 9 years ago, when she and Ưng Hoàng Phúc went to Will's school to celebrate his birthday. This shows the close relationship and genuine affection the male singer has for his wife's son throughout his upbringing.
Ung Hoang Phuc has been with Will for over 10 years, since the boy was just 4 years old. He affirms that he doesn't differentiate between "his biological child" and "his stepchild" and always loves Will as if he were his own son. It is this affection from the male singer that has made Kim Cuong trust him and decide to commit to a long-term relationship.
Will's affection for his stepfather was also incredibly deep. In a letter, he once wrote: "The first time I met Uncle Phuc, I found him very kind, approachable, and easy to talk to. Especially when I made mistakes, he didn't scold me. I feel very lucky that he came into my life and didn't discriminate against me because I'm his adopted child. I love Uncle Phuc very much."
A fulfilling home
Ung Hoang Phuc and Kim Cuong got married in 2018 and have two children together: Quoc Minh (born in 2018) and Minh Ha (born in 2019). Will always acts as a loving and caring older brother to his younger siblings, especially when their parents are away.
When Will went abroad to study, Ung Hoang Phuc also expressed his worry and longing for his son. He confided: "Our family of five is now down to four, and the whole family will miss you so much. Your parents know this is the journey you need to take - to study, grow, and become more stable in your chosen career."
