Horrified car driver runs over young man, causing victim's death
Police in Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province are searching for a suspect who used a car to run over a young man, causing the victim to die on the spot.
On the morning of August 7, Uong Bi City Police, Quang Ninh Province, said that the unit is urgently investigating and arresting the subject who used a car to run over a young man, causing the victim to die on the spot.

Initial information, the incident happened at around 10pm on August 6, in Zone 4 (Vang Danh Ward, Uong Bi City). Two groups of young people had a personal conflict that led to a scuffle and fight.
During the fight, Hoang Ngoc Thang (born in 1982, residing in Zone 7, Bac Son Ward, Uong Bi City) fell onto the sidewalk and was run over by a subject using a pickup truck with license plate 14C-170.69, causing the victim to die on the spot. Immediately after that, the subject fled the scene.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Bui Huy Thuc (Chairman of the People's Committee of Vanh Danh Ward, Uong Bi City) said that the identity of this subject has been determined and the authorities are organizing a search.
“These two groups are just having a conflict. Last night we notified the police and the provincial and city police went to the scene and conducted an investigation. The perpetrator has been identified. We are currently coordinating with the police to search for the perpetrator,” Mr. Thuc added../.
