Horrific incident: Car driver runs over young man, killing him instantly.

On the morning of August 7th, the Uong Bi City Police in Quang Ninh province announced that they are urgently investigating and pursuing the suspect who ran over a young man with a car, causing the victim to die on the spot.

According to initial information, the incident occurred around 10 PM on August 6th in Zone 4 (Vang Danh Ward, Uong Bi City). Two groups of young men, due to personal conflicts, clashed and fought.

During the altercation, Hoang Ngoc Thang (born in 1982, residing in Zone 7, Bac Son Ward, Uong Bi City) fell onto the sidewalk and was run over by an assailant using a pickup truck with license plate 14C-170.69, causing the victim to die on the spot. The assailant then fled the scene.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Bui Huy Thuc (Chairman of the People's Committee of Vanh Danh Ward, Uong Bi City) said that the suspect's identity has been determined and authorities are organizing a manhunt.

“These two groups were merely involved in a minor conflict. Last night, we notified the provincial and city police, who arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. The perpetrator has also been identified. Currently, we are coordinating with the police to track down the suspect,” Mr. Thuc added../.
