(Baonghean.vn) - A man who jumped off Ben Thuy I bridge to commit suicide was just successfully rescued by authorities.
According to information from the Waterway Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province, the unit has just successfully rescued a man who jumped off Ben Thuy I Bridge to commit suicide.
Previously, at around 9:45 a.m. on January 29, the Waterway Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police received a report from the people that a person had jumped off Ben Thuy I Bridge (Lam River, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City) to commit suicide.

Immediately, the Waterway Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police sent a task force using a specialized boat to the scene for rescue. Here, the task force discovered a man struggling to float on the Lam River.
The man was rescued and brought onto the boat in an unstable mental state. The working group performed first aid and psychological reassurance for him.
This man was identified as Nguyen Van S. (born in 1973, block 1, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city).
Late that morning, Mr. S. was handed over to his family in good health.
