Kubi, Phan Hien's son: From a small boy to a height rival to his father.
At the age of 11, Kubi (Minh Cuong) surprised everyone with his height of over 1.6 meters and impressive dancesport achievements. The eldest son of the couple Khanh Thi and Phan Hien is expected to continue the family's career on the international stage.
Dancesport champion Phan Hien recently shared the latest photos of his eldest son, Kubi (Minh Cuong), attracting attention from the online community. The series of photos documents Kubi's growth from childhood to the present day, when the 11-year-old boy already possesses a remarkable height, almost matching that of his champion father.
Changes in physique and the tradition of father-to-son inheritance.
Phan Hien expressed his astonishment at his son's rapid growth. He jokingly shared that Kubi, who used to be "Dad's little one," has now become "Dad's height rival." With his current height of over 1.6 meters, Kubi is considered to possess a handsome face and physique like an upgraded version of Phan Hien.

Not only did Kubi inherit good looks, but he also showed a strong passion for ballroom dancing from a very young age. Recently, father and son Phan Hien and Kubi appeared together on the official website of the World Dancesport Federation (WDSF). This is a proud milestone, affirming the continuity of generations in the Vietnamese dancesport scene. It is expected that in the near future, both will participate in an international competition, but in different age categories.

Following information from the federation, Khanh Thi also expressed her emotion and thanked her husband, Phan Hien. She is proud to see her children well-behaved and achieving early success in their careers.

Impressive achievements in international competitions.
Kubi started dancingsport at the age of 3 and quickly showed a natural talent. To date, he has amassed a collection of approximately 50 medals from competitions both domestically and internationally. Notably, Kubi and his dance partner have won the Syllabus World Championship for children twice in a row, in 2023 and 2024.

Besides natural talent, systematic investment from his family is a key factor in Kubi's success. Although both Khanh Thi and Phan Hien are seasoned coaches, they decided to invite international experts to teach their son privately. Khanh Thi explained that having her son learn from outside coaches provides him with a more serious and systematic training environment, preventing him from becoming over-reliant on his parents.

Family is a strong support system.
Khánh Thi and Phan Hiển got married in 2022 after many years together. Currently, the couple has three children: Minh Cường (Kubi, born in 2015), Vương Diễm (Anna, born in 2018), and Thùy Linh (Lisa, born in 2023). Their children have all been given opportunities to be exposed to art and sports from an early age.

During international tours, Khanh Thi is always there to accompany and take care of the logistics for both Phan Hien and Kubi. Although they hope their son will follow in their footsteps, the champion couple still prioritizes letting their son develop naturally according to his passion, without putting pressure on him to achieve top-level competition results.
