The 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is conducting its second working session.

During the second phase of the 8th Session, which will take place from November 20-30, the National Assembly will vote on and pass many important laws and resolutions.

The National Assembly will vote on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Securities, the Law on Accounting, the Law on Independent Auditing, the Law on State Budget, the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, the Law on Tax Management and the Law on National Reserves; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning, the Law on Investment, the Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership method and the Law on Bidding; the Law on Public Investment (amended) if conditions are met; and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmaceuticals.

The National Assembly will also vote on the Data Law, the Electricity Law (amended) if conditions permit, the Resolution on the investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis, the Resolution on the establishment of Hue City as a centrally-governed city, and the Resolution on the organization of urban government in Hai Phong City.

On the first working day of the second session (November 20th), the National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Teachers; the investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis; and the adjustment of the investment policy for the Long Thanh International Airport project.

The National Assembly will also hear presentations and reports on the review of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.
