Signing of the coordination regulations between the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An and the communes and wards.
On the afternoon of October 9th, the Party Committee of the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An (Ban CHPTKV) held a conference to sign a Coordination Regulation with the Party Committees of communes and wards in the area regarding leadership and direction in implementing local military and national defense tasks.
Attending and directing the conference was Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
Also attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Truong Vinh Ward; and Duong Dinh Chinh.ButThe Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Loc commune; members of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairmen of the People's Councils of Kim Lien, Hung Nguyen, Hung Nguyen Nam communes, and Cua Lo ward; Party Secretaries of communes and wards in the area, and relevant agencies.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the Provincial Party Standing Committee's decision on the appointment of members to the Party Committee of the Zone 1 - Van An Command; and approved the draft Regulations on coordination between the Party Committee of the Zone 1 - Van An Command and the Party Committees of communes and wards in the area in leading and directing the implementation of local military and national defense tasks and building military Party branches in communes and wards.

Accordingly, the draft Coordination Regulations clearly state the responsibilities and content of coordination between units in carrying out local military and national defense tasks. Specifically, the parties will coordinate in exchanging and notifying information on the situation and directives and resolutions from all levels related to the military and national defense fields; coordinate with the Party Committee of the commune/ward to build clean and strong military Party branches and lead the Commune/Ward Military Command to successfully complete its tasks.

In addition, the parties also coordinate in organizing training, competitions, sports events, and professional development according to the plans of the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region, and the Provincial Military Command; selecting and recruiting citizens for military service, ensuring the quantity and quality of military enrollment; organizing defense exercises, disaster prevention and control, rescue, and fire prevention and control; participating in maintaining political security and social order in border areas, carrying out defense diplomacy and other related activities.
At the conference, the parties exchanged views, discussed, agreed on the content, and signed an agreement on coordination between the Party Committee of the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An and representatives of the Party Committees of 22 communes and wards in the area regarding leadership and direction in implementing local military and national defense tasks.
