| On the afternoon of July 16th, the Nghe An Provincial Bar Association held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary (July 18th, 1989 - July 18th, 2019). On July 18, 1989, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision 1510 establishing the Nghe Tinh Bar Association, comprising 15 lawyers. After the province was separated, on January 23, 1992, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision 186 establishing the Nghe An Bar Association, inheriting the Nghe Tinh Bar Association.
Over 30 years of development and growth, the Nghe An Provincial Bar Association has continuously strived to overcome all difficulties. Currently, it has 130 lawyers and 39 trainee lawyers. At present, the Nghe An Bar Association is one of the top Bar Associations in the country in terms of the number of lawyers, ranking only behind major cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, and some southern provinces...
The team of lawyers of the Nghe An Bar Association received basic training at law universities nationwide; among them, many lawyers hold doctoral degrees in law, master's degrees in law, or are currently pursuing master's degrees in law and doctoral research in law.

With a growing team of lawyers, the quality of their work has gradually improved, contributing to maintaining political security and social order, creating a stable environment for economic development and integration in the province. In particular, during the past term, the litigation activities of lawyers belonging to the Nghe An Bar Association have continuously improved, with lawyers participating in defending and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of clients in all fields.
In addition to meticulously preparing their defense arguments, lawyers have prioritized and improved the quality of litigation at trial. Many lawyers have not hesitated to actively debate with prosecutors in order to uncover the objective truth of the case, protect the legitimate rights of their clients, and contribute to upholding justice.
In addition to participating in assigned cases promptly, lawyers also provide free legal defense for certain cases involving disadvantaged individuals, policy beneficiaries, and war veterans, in order to protect their legitimate rights as stipulated by law.

Speaking at the anniversary ceremony, Comrade Dang Kim Hoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Assistance (Ministry of Justice) acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Nghe An Bar Association over the past 30 years. She also urged the Bar Association to deeply understand its mission, continuously improve its knowledge and professional skills, and build a stronger organization with a larger workforce, thereby gradually improving the quality of its activities, contributing to maintaining political security and social order, and creating a stable environment for economic development and integration in the province.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Commendation to one collective and three individuals for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the Nghe An Bar Association.
