The congratulatory message from Vietnamese leaders highly appreciated 2025 as a successful and highly significant year for Vietnam-China relations, marking new developments in the relationship between the two countries.

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2026), General Secretary To Lam and President Luong Cuong exchanged congratulatory messages with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh exchanged congratulatory messages with Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang; and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man exchanged congratulatory messages with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji.

The congratulatory messages from key Vietnamese leaders highly appreciate 2025 as a successful and highly significant year for Vietnam-China relations, marking new developments in the 75-year journey of bilateral relations.

The reciprocal visits between key leaders of the two Parties and countries, as well as high-level exchanges and cooperation at all levels, sectors, and fields between the two countries, have contributed to elevating the Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Shared Future Community to a new level, entering a new phase of development with continuously strengthened political, material, and social foundations.

Building on the solid foundation of traditional friendly neighborly relations, and leveraging the positive results of cooperation between the two Parties and countries in recent times, with the determination of the high-level leaders, political systems, and people of both countries, the key Vietnamese leaders affirmed that both sides have firm confidence in a brighter, more substantive, and more effective future development of relations between the two Parties and countries in all aspects.

The congratulatory messages from key Chinese leaders emphasized that China and Vietnam are two friendly socialist neighbors, building a strategically significant community of shared future.

The fact that the two Parties and two countries are steadfastly pursuing the socialist path in accordance with the situation of each country, and are working together to consolidate and deepen friendly neighborly relations, cooperation, and solidarity, is in line with the common interests of both sides and has significant importance for the cause of socialism in the world and for promoting the progress and development of humanity.

The key Chinese leaders affirmed that they attach great importance to the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries; and are ready to promote the China-Vietnam relationship to continuously achieve new progress, reach new heights, and deepen, for the happiness of the people of both countries, and for peace, stability, and development of the region and the world.

On this occasion, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Comrade Bui Thanh Son, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Vietnamese side of the Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation Steering Committee; and General Tran Quang Phuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, and Chairman of the Vietnam-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, exchanged congratulatory messages with their respective Chinese leaders.
