Ky Son: Over 60 militia members help Keng Du commune maintain roads.

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 23, the Military Command of Ky Son district (Nghe An province) mobilized more than 60 militia members to help people in Khe Linh village, Keng Du commune, maintain and repair rural roads.

This is the only road from Khe Linh village to the Keng Du commune People's Committee headquarters, but due to prolonged use and weather effects, it has become severely eroded, rough, and degraded.

Therefore, the Ky Son District Military Command mobilized more than 60 militia members to help local people fill in severely damaged sections of road and widen areas affected by landslides on the embankment.

After a day of intensive and urgent work, despite light rain and dense fog, the militia forces managed to repair many damaged sections of the more than 12km long road.
