However, in Ky Son district, there are still two most difficult points in terms of traffic, including the overflow culvert of Xieng Thu village, Chieu Luu commune and the overflow culvert of Xop Thap village, Huu Lap commune. At these points, the water is still flowing strongly, people cannot cross, isolating hundreds of households in the village.
Present at the Xieng Thu village spillway, Chieu Luu commune on the morning of September 22, the reporter recorded that local government machinery was still working hard to clear the flow, ensuring traffic safety for the people.

Mr. La Thanh Hue - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chieu Luu Commune said: "After the recent flood, the road from Xieng Thu village to Luu Hoa, La Ngan, Tat Thoong, and Luu Thang villages is still not clear due to overflowing sewers and strong water flow. Although Ky Son district has mobilized more machinery to work for the past week, traffic and travel of people have not been able to return to normal due to many rains, rocks and soil from upstream still falling down and blocking the drainage sewers".
It is known that 4 villages were divided in the area.Chieu Luu communeThere are 700 households and about 3,000 people. All aid depends on large trucks that can cross the overflow sewer. If motorbikes are used, a household must carry the vehicle to get through this dangerous section of road.

The road from Huu Lap commune to Bao Nam commune is in a similar situation. On this route, there is a spillway bridge in Xop Thap village, the water is high and the flow is fast, making it difficult to move to the center of Bao Nam commune.
Bao Nam Commune authorities said that there are still 3 villages isolated due to landslides, including: Huoi Hoc, Luu Tan and Thao Di. Although the commune has maintained 1-2 excavators to handle the landslides, the road has not been cleared due to the large volume of soil and rocks. The biggest concern is that if it rains, the soil and rocks will continue to slide down, making the recovery work difficult and prolonged.
Discussing this issue, Mr. Tho Ba Re - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district said: With the efforts of local authorities of communes and the participation of people over the past half month, by September 22, the roads to the commune center in the area have been basically cleared. However, there are still 2 most difficult points including Xieng Thu spillway, Chieu Luu commune and Xop Thap village spillway, Huu Lap commune.
"Therefore, the district will mobilize all machinery and vehicles to handle these traffic points. The proposed plan is to mobilize excavators to dredge the manholes under the overflow, because currently there is a large amount of soil, rocks, and tree trunks blocking the manholes. When the dredging is successful, the flood water will flow under the overflow, and people can travel normally. If the weather does not rain, the district strives to clear the entire route to the commune centers by the end of September 23," Mr. Tho Ba Re emphasized.

Regarding the repair of provincial roads, the district has mobilized 2 excavators, a loader from the district and mobilized many more excavators from enterprises to carry out the repair for many days. Currently, National Highway 7A has been cleared. It is recommended that the Ky Son Road Management Department install warning signs and spread roadbeds to prevent leaks, ensuring the safety of vehicles traveling in the area.
