The 2025 Nghe An Expanded Intermediate Level Vovinam Promotion Examination
On the morning of August 16th, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Nghe An Vovinam Federation organized the 2025 Nghe An Province Expanded Intermediate Level Vovinam - Vietnamese Martial Arts Promotion Examination, with the participation of 150 students from Nghe An and the provinces of Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Hai Phong, Tuyen Quang and Hue City.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from the Vietnam Vovinam Federation, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Nghe An Vovinam Federation, and the Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center.
According to the regulations, candidates must have completed the full training program, met the required seniority, expertise, and moral character standards. The examination includes the following content: Theory, basic techniques, solo practice, pair practice, and sparring, applicable to levels from Yellow Belt to Third-Level Yellow Belt.
Through this competition, the Vietnam Vovinam Federation and Nghe An province assess the training, discovery, and nurturing of young talents to supplement the national team, aiming for domestic and international tournaments.
Nghe An is currently one of the localities with a strong Vovinam movement, boasting dozens of clubs. Since the establishment of the Nghe An Vovinam Federation (in 2024), many national tournaments and major events have been organized, contributing to affirming the position of this traditional martial art in a homeland rich in martial traditions.
