Representatives of the Organizing Committee awarded 56 individual prizes, 56 team prizes and 158 consolation prizes to 14 groups at the 1st Nghe An Province Youth and Children's Chess Tournament held on the afternoon of August 24, in Truong Vinh ward.

More than 560 players participated in the 1st Nghe An Open Youth and Children's Chess Tournament

On the morning of August 24, in Vinh city, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Council coordinated with the Nghe Chess Club to organize the first Nghe An Provincial Youth and Children's Chess Tournament with the participation of more than 560 young chess players.
10-year-old chess grandmaster from Nghe An won 5 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the Southeast Asian Youth Chess Championship

On the morning of July 13, Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh (10 years old) returned home with pride after days of intense competition at the Southeast Asia Youth Chess Championship, held in Penang, Malaysia. She won a total of 6 medals.
