Several chips, a pendant and cufflinks were found in the luggage of Virginia Estelle McDowell Clark and her husband Walter Miller Clark. The relics and their story will be on display for a limited time at an exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, to mark the 105th anniversary of the shipwreck, according to USA Today.

The Clarks were on a belated honeymoon in Europe. They decided to board the Titanic to get home in time for their son's second birthday. Virginia Clark said her husband was playing cards in the great room when the iceberg struck. She interrupted the game and told him something was wrong.

Walter left and took his wife to Lifeboat No. 4, while he stayed behind to help the women and children. Neither of them knew it would be the last time they would see each other. The boat was supposed to be lowered and pick up more people. But since it could not be picked up from the bridge, it continued to be lowered. There was plenty of room on the boat, and Walter Clark might still be alive if he had done something different.

While studying artifacts from the Titanic, researchers were trying to find the passengers involved. Luckily, the pendant had the initials VC. When they checked the records, they found that it belonged to Virginia Clark, who was married to Walter Clark.

The story of the Clark family and the relics recovered from the Titanic will be on display in the near future.
