| The people of Khe Boi hamlet, Khe Bo village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district (Nghe An province) used a handcart to take the children in the hamlet to carry star-shaped lanterns. |
The special "vehicle" for the lantern procession is "designed" only once a year to serve the children. It's an everyday cart that people use to haul agricultural products or construction materials. To transform it into a "vehicle" carrying special passengers, people use materials like bamboo to create the frame, then decorate it with balloons and colorful flags, and the sides are covered with curtains taken from windows. In front of the cart is a large five-pointed star covered with colored cellophane.
