The fishing boat and its 18 crew members were towed safely ashore.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 21st, representatives from the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station (Quynh Luu district) reported that the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command, along with the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, had towed the fishing vessel NA 93362 TS, which had suffered engine failure, and brought 18 crew members safely ashore at Lach Quen fishing port. Currently, all crew members are in stable condition.

Earlier, at approximately 7:20 AM on November 20th, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center received information that the fishing vessel NA 93362 TS (with 18 crew members on board, all fishermen from Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province) had suffered engine failure and had been drifting since 11:00 AM on November 19th.
The distressed vessel was located 30 nautical miles northeast of Cua Hoi, Nghe An. The crew of the NA 93362 TS vessel attempted to fix the problem but were unsuccessful, so the captain requested urgent rescue assistance.

Upon receiving the information, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center issued a maritime notice, requesting ships and vessels operating near the area of the NA 93362 TS vessel to assist the distressed vessel. The Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center dispatched the SAR 411 vessel, which was on standby at Xuan Hai, Nghi Xuan district (Ha Tinh province), to urgently rescue the fishing vessel NA 93362 TS.
