Nghe An driver transports large quantity of cosmetics without documents
On April 25, the Mobile Market Management Team under the Dong Nai Market Management Department coordinated with the Suoi Tre Traffic Police Team to inspect a truck traveling on National Highway 1A from North to South through Long Khanh town.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the truck with license plate 37C-146.64 driven by Mr. Nguyen Hong Anh, residing in Nghe An province, was carrying a large amount of goods.Cosmetics. The above cosmetics include Ponds skin cream, Whitening shower gel, Goat milk, Rice milk facial cleanser, Jena hair conditioner, Clear shampoo, Darlie toothpaste...
Through counting, the authorities determined that there were about 15,000 boxes of cosmetics. Among them were 14,000 boxes of Ponds skin whitening cream, 6g and 50g; 400 boxes of Jena hair conditioner; 200 boxes of Rice Milk facial cleanser... The above cosmetics were all labeled as made in Thailand.
Working with the authorities, the truck driver stated that all of the goods were hired by a cargo owner to be transported from the North to Ho Chi Minh City. The driver was unable to present invoices, documents, certificates of origin and source of the goods. Initial assessment was that the cosmetics were suspected to be counterfeit.
Dong Nai Market Management Agency has made a record to temporarily detain all of the above goods for further investigation./.
