On the morning of June 2nd, the leaders of the Nghe An Department of Health announced that they had issued a directive to the Nghe An Friendship General Hospital to report specifically on the incident in which a hospital employee was assaulted by a man. Accordingly, on the evening of June 1st, a 40-second video clip appeared on social media showing a man working in the administrative area of Nghe An Friendship General Hospital. After an argument with a female employee, the man lunged at the counter, aiming his fist at the hospital staff member. This happened despite a hospital security guard sitting nearby. The man only stopped after being restrained by family members and the hospital security guard.
Following the appearance of the video, the online community expressed outrage at the violent behavior in a medical environment, which should be a safe, respectful, and humane space. According to our investigation, the video was recorded at 11:54 PM on May 31st in the hospital's emergency department. Currently, the hospital is requesting detailed reports from the medical staff involved in the video.
