Every day, the effects of sunlight, environmental pollutants, and other factors cause skin aging, affecting its beauty. Therefore, the desire to have fair skin, especially among women, is perfectly understandable. While many methods exist in daily life, for safer and more effective results, here are a few ways to whiten and beautify skin using common, readily available foods.
- Carrots and honey: Both honey and carrots contain vitamins beneficial for the skin, such as A and E. Take a sufficient amount of carrots, wash them thoroughly, mash them, then add honey and mix well until smooth (ensure the ratio of honey to carrots is 1:3). Then, put the mixture in a clean cloth and apply it to the skin, massaging gently for about 10 minutes (after washing the area you want to whiten with clean water or warm water if it's cold, then drying it). Finally, rinse the treated area with clean water. Do this once a day.
- Cream: Pour fresh cow's milk into a pot and simmer over low heat until a thin film of cream forms on the surface. Skim off this film and continue simmering until no more cream forms. Mix this cream with fruits and eat it, or use it to wash your face; both are effective.
- Black bean soup: Black beans are rich in vitamins, especially vitamins E and B. The vitamin E content in black beans is 6-7 times higher than in meat. When preparing black bean soup, choose plump, mold-free beans, wash them thoroughly, and simmer them with chicken or pork broth until tender. Consume once a day.
- Apples: The components in apples, such as vitamin C, along with many minerals, natural sugars, and malic acid, effectively nourish and moisturize the skin. A simple method is to apply a few slices of apple to the face to achieve a bright and radiant complexion.
- Loofah face mask: Studies show that loofah has the effect of promoting blood circulation, cooling the skin, detoxifying, and whitening the skin. Slice the loofah thinly, mash it, add a little barley flour and a few spoonfuls of clean water. Mix the mixture well, then apply it to your face for about 15-20 minutes. Do this 2-3 times a week continuously for 1 month to see results.
