Encroaching on land to build a nearly 50m² burial plot, resulting in a written report.
Authorities in Vinh Loc ward (Nghe An province) have just dismantled and issued a fine for a case involving the construction of a burial ground that encroached on a large area of the cemetery.
On March 26, a leader of the Vinh Loc Ward People's Committee stated that the locality had just conducted an inspection, verification, and recorded a report on the illegal construction of a mausoleum complex at Mu Mu Cemetery, Duc Tho block (formerly Hung Loc Ward).
Upon inspection, authorities discovered that the family of Mr. Nguyen Manh H. (Duc Tho ward) had constructed a concrete foundation and erected formwork for two pillars with an area of 48.8m² on land belonging to the Mu Mu cemetery. At the time of the inspection, the homeowner could not present any relevant legal documents.

Authorities have documented the violations and organized the demolition of the illegally constructed structures. The process was conducted transparently and according to proper procedures, receiving the consent of the local residents.

According to the leaders of Vinh Loc Ward People's Committee, this move aims to strengthen discipline in state management of land, ensuring land use is in accordance with planning and legal regulations. In the coming time, Vinh Loc Ward will continue to strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly detect and strictly handle violations; resolutely dismantle and restore the original state in accordance with the law. For violations, the ward will impose administrative penalties and organize forced demolition immediately upon detection, preventing delays and the emergence of new violations, contributing to restoring discipline in land management, construction order, and burial practices in the area.
