For the first time, Dan Lai village has built a concrete road.

(Baonghean.vn) - Within two days, October 28th and 29th, the people of Khe Bu village, Chau Khe commune (Con Cuong district) completed a 100-meter-long, 3-meter-wide rural road. This is the first time this village of the Dan Lai community has built a rural road.

Khe Bu is a remote village in Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district (Nghe An province), located nearly 30km from the district center. The village faces difficult transportation conditions. Therefore, when cement was supplied, the villagers enthusiastically participated in building the road.

The youth union members in the village enthusiastically participated in building rural roads.

Ms. Le Thi Thin, Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Khe Bu village, said: "The villagers are very excited. Many people who were in the forest harvesting bamboo shoots heard about the rural road construction and came back to contribute their efforts. No household neglected this common task."

In addition to the 170 people representing each household in the village, the youth union members also enthusiastically participated. "That's why many households had two people involved in road construction, and the total number of participants each day was approximately 200," added Ms. Le Thi Thin.

This was also the first time the young men in the village learned about the work of a bricklayer.

During this rural road construction campaign, the entire village completed a portion of the more than 400 meters of access roads and alleyways within the village. Mr. Vi Dinh Khai, Secretary of the Chau Khe Commune Party Committee, stated: "Most people in the commune strongly support the rural road construction initiative. However, due to insufficient cement supply, the villagers have only been able to complete a portion of the roads within the village."
