The Line, Episode 12: Trien's Decisive Battle for the Department Director Position
Despite the warnings, Triển officially joined the power struggle, while his rival Lê Chỉnh was unexpectedly summoned by the Prosecutor's Office due to an anonymous complaint.
Trien ignored the warnings and was determined to win the position of Director of the Department.
In episode 12 of the series "The Dividing Line," Triển had a frank discussion with Mr. Sách about the Đông Phong project and expressed his desire to participate in the race for the position of Director of the Department of Finance. Although Mr. Sách acknowledged that Triển was still "inexperienced," lacked the necessary skills, and advised him to find a more suitable position to further hone his abilities, Triển remained determined to try.
"You're young, you have a long way to go, frankly, you're still very inexperienced on this chessboard... You're skilled, but you lack the courage to sit on the edge," Mr. Sach analyzed. However, Trien replied that "you learn from your mistakes" and wanted to "try to see how deep the water is."

Shortly afterward, Triển began his first steps. He "accidentally" revealed to Thu, the Deputy Director of the Procuratorate, unfavorable information about the Đông Phong project related to Lê Chỉnh – his direct rival. At the same time, he asked his wife to prepare a meal to entertain an important guest, an official from the Government Office.
Le Chinh faced the Prosecutor's Office, but was trusted by the Party Secretary.
Le Chinh unexpectedly received a summons from the Prosecutor's Office related to an anonymous complaint about the Dong Phong project. During his meeting with Deputy Prosecutor Thu, Le Chinh was frank and affirmed that he would not commit any wrongdoing for small gains.

Shortly afterward, Le Chinh met with Secretary Son to discuss the matter. Secretary Son, far from being worried, encouraged his subordinate, viewing it as an opportunity to demonstrate his abilities and character. Secretary Son affirmed his support for Le Chinh, trusting in his integrity and willingness to take responsibility.
"Many people believe that facing difficulties is a bad omen, but I consider it a blessing because it's an opportunity to showcase one's abilities and character," Secretary Son said.

The multi-billion dollar scheme is in trouble; the person holding the key has fled.
Another significant development is that Vien, who held the key to deciphering the flow of money in the trillion-dollar gambling ring, fled after being injured. Thieu, another figure connected to the ring, is relentlessly pursuing Vien to retrieve the deciphering key.

Meanwhile, the investigating police had obtained the encrypted documents but lacked the decryption key, bringing the investigation to a standstill.
Trinh Tam Group faces a double crisis.
My Trinh's Trinh Tam Group also faced trouble when residents protested demanding land ownership certificates at the apartment complex. At the same time, the group's data center was burglarized and its servers attacked by hackers. Facing this crisis, My Trinh approached Thieu, demanding that he share responsibility because half of the business belonged to him. She angrily threatened to no longer cover up Thieu's actions if he didn't help her.

Further developments will be shown in episode 13 of the series "The Dividing Line," airing at 9 PM on November 18th on VTV1.
