The Line, Episode 15: Vien reveals himself, Thu confronts her husband about the secret.
Viên unexpectedly appeared at the hospital and was discovered by Thu. At the same time, Thu became increasingly suspicious that her husband, Chấn, was hiding a shady secret related to hospital bills and strange gifts.
The doctor made a bold appearance at the hospital.
In the latest episode (15) of the series "The Dividing Line," the character Vien (Doan Quoc Dam), a wanted criminal, unexpectedly appears at the hospital to treat his wounds after days of hiding. This happens at the same time that Hang Thu (Hong Diem) is there to take care of her husband.
Despite being warned by doctors about the risk of serious infection and the need for immediate hospitalization, Vien dismissed the warnings and demanded that his wound be treated quickly. His cold attitude and reckless actions showed his overconfidence in believing that no one would recognize him in a crowded place.
However, that moment did not escape Thu's notice. She recognized Vien and immediately called the police to initiate a manhunt, creating a new and tense situation.
Questions are rising regarding Thu and Chấn's marriage.
Alongside Viên's situation, the relationship between Thu and her husband, Chấn (Hà Việt Dũng), also became increasingly strained. Thu discovered a series of unusual details during her husband's hospitalization, including the fact that hospital bills had been secretly paid by a stranger and that gifts were constantly being sent to them.
When Thu questioned him, Chấn tried to appear calm and brush off the matter with jokes. However, Thu did not accept his flimsy explanation. She emphasized that her husband's work in the tax department was always closely tied to the interests of businesses, therefore these events "could not possibly be just coincidences."
The ulterior motives
Meanwhile, from elsewhere, Thieu (Manh Cuong) was watching everything unfold through a camera, smiling calculatingly, suggesting that everything seemed to be within his control.
Another character, Vinh, is also trying to escape legal trouble by seeking the help of a lawyer. The lawyer makes a veiled remark: "If the only focus on imprisoning people in a case is inhumane," giving Vinh a glimmer of hope for a way out.
The next episodes of episode 15 of the series "The Dividing Line" will be broadcast at 9 PM tonight (November 20th) on VTV1.
