In episode 15 of the series "The Dividing Line," wanted fugitive Vien (Doan Quoc Dam) unexpectedly appeared at the hospital to treat his injuries, leading to a dramatic arrest by the police. However, Vien managed to escape, raising suspicions that investigative information may have been leaked.
The dramatic events begin when Hang Thu accidentally discovers Vien hiding in the hospital with serious injuries. She immediately secretly takes photos and reports it to the police. Although the authorities quickly arrive and cordon off the area, Vien cleverly disguises herself as a nurse, taking advantage of the chaos to escape right under the noses of the investigators.
Viên's recklessness led investigator Thắng to believe that he had come not only for treatment but also to meet an important figure. The incident also dragged Dr. An, who had treated Viên due to their old acquaintance, into the police investigation.
Suspected information leaks and new leads
Viên's narrow escape worried Thắng about the possibility of internal information leaks. He assured Thu that the investigation team had obtained "very interesting" findings but needed time to verify them to avoid risks.
At the same time, the investigation into the online gambling ring uncovered many suspicious transactions not conducted through banks, and the name A Hong unexpectedly emerged. This was considered a potential lead, but Thang determined that the top priority remained arresting Vien to unravel the complexities of the case.
Cracks in relationships
In another storyline, Vinh approaches prosecutor Dinh to inquire about his case. Dinh hints at the complexity and intensity of the investigation, further increasing Vinh's anxiety.
Meanwhile, the conflict between Thu and her husband, Chấn, a tax official, escalated. Thu was annoyed that a businesswoman named Huyền not only visited Chấn but also paid all of his medical expenses. She questioned her husband about the transparency of his relationships, fearing he might become involved in vested interests.
The mastermind remains in the shadows.
After escaping, Yuan called his wife, reassured her, and planned for them both to leave the country. All these tense developments were under the control of Shao, the mastermind who was watching everything through cameras with a calculating smile, foreshadowing even more complex schemes to come.
