In episode 21 of the series "The Dividing Line," Vien begins his day with a horrifying sight: he discovers the girl he shared a room with lying motionless in bed, covered in blood. At the same time, he receives an anonymous threatening message stating that his wife will be the next target. Pushed into a panic, Vien is forced to begin an escape to save himself and his family.
Despite receiving a warning call from Thieu, Vien remained defiant and attempted to escape the hotel through the windows and iron ladder. His escape coincided with the police's efforts to apprehend him. Captain Thang and his colleagues concluded that Vien's life was in danger, forcing him to go into hiding. The sudden disappearance of his wife and children further intensified the manhunt.

Viên went to a dock intending to continue hiding. After a brief phone call to reassure his wife, he was ambushed, kidnapped, and forced into a car by a gang. This incident is believed to be connected to Jiang Su Su, a notorious online gangster who had recently returned to the country.
Recognizing this as their last chance to apprehend Vien and extract information about the gambling ring, the police immediately mobilized all their forces to track down him and his criminal gang.
Confrontation in the abandoned house
Yuan was taken to an abandoned house, where he confronted Jiang Su Su directly. Yuan was interrogated about the cause of the gambling system's collapse and why he hadn't been arrested by the police. Jiang repeatedly threatened him, demanding that Yuan hand over a card containing important data.
To increase the pressure, Chiang Kai-shek showed Yuan a video of his wife pleading for help. However, Yuan realized it was just an AI-generated image. Chiang then threatened to use brutal torture methods if Yuan did not cooperate.
At the most tense moment, the police located the abandoned house and quickly deployed forces to surround it.
