Episode 3 of the series "The Dividing Line" heightens the drama as the investigative agency decides to conduct an emergency raid on the headquarters of Vien Vinh Company to prevent Director Nguyen Van Vien (Doan Quoc Dam) from destroying evidence. At the same time, Vien quickly plans his escape after deleting important data.

Noticing something unusual, Nguyen Van Vien quickly locked the office door and proceeded to delete all data on the system. Receiving an urgent order to act, the investigation team led by Thang (Bao Anh) quickly arrived at Vien Vinh Company and arrested the suspects who were destroying evidence.
Meanwhile, at his home, Vien calmly monitored everything via webcam and instructed his subordinates to transfer operations to a backup system. After completing the data deletion, Vien disguised himself and attempted to flee. However, at the scene, the investigators faced difficulties in gathering evidence as the computer system was locked, forcing them to seek assistance from an IT expert.

Prior to the raid, there was a tense debate between the investigating agency and the prosecutor's office. The investigating side wanted to approve the emergency arrest warrant for Nguyen Van Vien, but Deputy Prosecutor Bui Hang Thu (Hong Diem) was cautious. She argued that the evidence regarding gambling was not yet solid and suggested focusing on tax evasion.
Shortly afterward, the investigating agency supplemented crucial documents proving that Vien had engaged in the practice of creating fictitious invoices and understating revenue, evading tens of billions of dong in taxes. Numerous reports bearing Vien's direct signature on these transactions became irrefutable evidence, leading to the decision for an emergency search.

Alongside the case, the film also portrays the political landscape of Viet Dong province through an exchange between the Provincial Chairman, Mr. Thuy (Meritorious Artist Pham Cuong), and the Deputy Secretary, Mr. Sach (People's Artist Trung Anh). The two leaders discussed outstanding issues after the streamlining of the administrative apparatus, especially the personnel arrangements in Thuan Duong commune.
In another development, Deputy Prosecutor Bui Hang Thu unexpectedly received news that the wife of defendant Ky urgently wanted to meet with her to ask for help, saying that her family was being threatened. She assigned young prosecutor Thu Huong (Anh Dao) the task of verifying the matter, revealing a new detail in the case.
