In episode 31 of the series "The Dividing Line," the People's Committee of Viet Dong Province decided to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the Trinh Tam Group's apartment project, a move considered crucial to resolving long-standing issues. Provincial leaders emphasized that the inspection must be carried out seriously to clarify all existing problems.

When the Chief Inspector of the province, Hoang Van Tu, proposed Nguyet – Trien's close friend – to lead the inspection team, Trien tacitly supported the decision. Although outwardly expressing concern for Nguyet's health, he skillfully opposed other choices, ensuring Nguyet was given the important responsibility. This move by Trien was seen as a crucial strategic step, even though it made Nguyet feel uneasy and somewhat apprehensive.
Trinh's dialogue and arrangements
After the work was arranged, Triển went to meet Trinh but instead ran into Thủy, her cousin. Triển clearly showed his discomfort with Thủy's closeness, even though he had previously spent a night with her as arranged.
Knowing of Triển's refusal, Trinh had a subtly suggestive conversation with him. "Sometimes fate sets boundaries and turning points; at that point, we have no choice but to open the door and move on," Trinh said. She also affirmed her willingness to support him if needed. Trinh's sharp words made Triển understand why Deputy Secretary Sách held her in high regard, while Chairman Thủy was hesitant. Ultimately, Triển agreed to Trinh's arrangement, but then maintained his distance by addressing Thủy as "uncle" and "niece."

At the same time, Trinh had to deal with complaints from residents, represented by Ms. Phuoc, regarding the prohibition of using the community center. Trinh explained that the developer wanted to upgrade the area but would stop if the residents did not agree. She also dismissed the security team involved to de-escalate the situation.
Upon learning that Nguyet, Trien's close friend, would be leading the inspection team, Trinh remained calm. She instructed all company employees to prepare complete documentation and cooperate closely with the inspection team to ensure the work proceeded smoothly.
Pressure from all sides
Meanwhile, Thieu continued to pressure Chan regarding the tax refund for Dai Bang Company. Despite Chan's firm stance, Thieu resorted to threatening to use Chan's mistakes to jeopardize the career of his wife, Thu, who was being groomed for an important position. This once again put Chan in a difficult position.
Meanwhile, Thu is investigating the Vien Vinh company case and has many suspicions about Hai Tu company. She suspects that the bidding irregularities and money laundering activities are all related, and that A Hong may be behind it all. The case becomes even more complicated when the leader of Hai Tu company, Nguyen Van Hao, is in a coma.
