In the latest development of episode 32 of the series "The Dividing Line," Deputy Secretary Sach had a private meeting with Trinh at a secluded villa. There, Mr. Sach affirmed his role as her protector, likening himself to an "oak tree" providing shade, while Trinh was a "soft reed" with whom he could share his thoughts. This move comes as Trinh Tam's corporation is facing a rigorous investigation.
The confrontation at Trinh Tam
The inspection team from Viet Dong province, led by Deputy Chief Inspector Tran Thi Nguyet, held its first meeting with Trinh Tam Group. Although Trinh showed willingness to cooperate and assigned two assistants to work directly with the team, the atmosphere during the meeting became tense. Ms. Nguyet adopted a firm stance, demanding that Trinh Tam remove all food and drinks used to entertain the team.
Nguyệt refused Triển's money.
In another development, Triển brought fruit and an envelope to Nguyệt's house, claiming it was for the children. However, Nguyệt firmly refused to accept the envelope. She thanked Triển for his concern but insisted she would not accept money.
