After being arrested, Tran Truong finally confessed how the network operated. The betting system was taken from an international bookmaker with a server located abroad. Players participated in the form of credit and mortgage, and were given accounts to trade. Winnings and losses were transferred to many different bank accounts before being converted into cryptocurrency and legalized as investments in Vien Vinh company.
The mastermind was caught and the final move
Nguyen Van Vien was identified as the mastermind, the main operator of the network and directly managed the VIP players. However, the identities of these VIP players remain a mystery. Meanwhile, Vien is planning to escape but is facing difficulties because his account has been frozen.
In an urgent situation, Vien sought out Vinh, an inspector of the Department of Construction and also a VIP in his network. Vien used evidence of Vinh's gambling to threaten Vinh, demanding that he bring 200 million VND to carry out his escape plan. The situation became tense when Vinh was also losing money and had no cash available.
