The prosecutor's office uncovered serious irregularities in the Trinh Tam project. Meanwhile, Mr. Sach unexpectedly ordered Trinh to release Huyen, opening up a dramatic new development.
Episode 53 of the series "The Dividing Line" marks a crucial turning point when the Prosecutor's Office discovers a series of irregularities in the asset valuation process at the Trinh Tam project. The Chief Prosecutor concludes that this is a "nest of wasps" with many complex issues, signaling a fierce investigation phase with no exceptions for land-related violations.
Irregularities at the Trinh Tam project and Trinh's attitude.
Trinh (Huyen Trang) is repeatedly summoned after complaints from residents alleging that she manipulated the price of agricultural land to transform it into "prime land." Facing accusations of buying low and selling high, Trinh maintains a firm stance, claiming the increased value is due to the efforts of the business. She asserts that the project has created jobs and high incomes for the local community, and views the residents' reactions as dissatisfaction despite having benefited from the project.

However, the investigating agency presented a series of evidence of irregularities in the land inspection and reclamation process. While Trinh Tam was under scrutiny, Ngoc Trien's ambition for power became apparent as he sought connections with higher-ranking officials to prepare for his personal advancement.
The failed negotiations and the links of power
Huyen, Khac's lover, proactively met with Hang Thu to offer her evidence against Trinh Tam in exchange for a lighter sentence for her boyfriend. However, Hang Thu resolutely refused any form of negotiation with the law. She affirmed that sincerity and cooperation with the authorities was the only way to receive leniency.

Meanwhile, the interrogation of Thieu revealed a close relationship between him and Ngoc Trien. Initially, Thieu tried to evade the question, but faced with evidence that Trien paid for Hang Thu's husband's medical expenses, Thieu was forced to admit to using his relationship with the Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office to seek "support" and connect with the inspection team.

The kidnapping incident and Mr. Sach's intervention.
The situation escalated when Huyen was abducted by Trinh's men just before she could hand over the evidence to the prosecutor's office. Noticing the unusual disappearance, Hang Thu immediately requested the police to investigate Huyen's whereabouts to ensure the witness's safety.

At the height of the tension, Trinh unexpectedly received a call from Mr. Sach, ordering her to stop all actions and let him handle the situation directly. Following this order, Huyen was released but with a direct threat to the safety of her family if she continued to reveal information.

Further details will be shown in episode 54 of the series "The Dividing Line," airing at 9 PM on VTV1.
