Promoting the unique agricultural tourism destinations of Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Project to Support the Development of Rural Tourism Products in Nam Dan - Nghe An, from December 1-4, a working group from the General Department of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, conducted a survey of several destinations in Nghe An.
The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Dao Dung, Deputy Director of the Travel Department, under the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. Members of the delegation included leaders from the Nghe An Department of Tourism and experts in...ecotourismand farmers, representatives of travel companies; reporters from news agencies and newspapers.

The purpose of this project is to survey and assess the resources and current state of rural tourism resource exploitation in Nam Dan district and the surrounding area in order to pilot the development of tourism.Nam Dan districtTo become a model new rural district focusing on cultural development linked with tourism, making Nam Dan an attractive and unique tourist destination and contributing to attracting tourists to Nghe An.

Over the course of four days, the delegation from the General Department of Tourism laid wreaths and offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House.Kim Lien Special National Historical Site,Surveys were conducted at several locations in Nam Dan district (the paternal and maternal hometowns of President Ho Chi Minh, Chung Son Temple, the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Sen Que Bac Cooperative, Dai Tue Pagoda, traditional villages producing soy sauce and vermicelli in the town, and an agro-tourism model in Nam Nghia commune).
Simultaneously, surveys were conducted at several locations in Con Cuong district (traditional village specializing in making herbal wine, Pha Lai ecological area) and Cua Lo town (resorts and golf courses).

Following the survey, the delegation plans to coordinate with the Nghe An Department of Tourism and Nam Dan district on December 4th to organize a workshop to discuss and contribute ideas for developing programs.rural tourismThis initiative aims to create attractive connections between tourist destinations in Nam Dan district and other tourist destinations in the province, thereby boosting the number of tourists visiting Nam Dan in particular and Nghe An in general.
